That said, we're now unclear on whether these will be released publicly or just to the press and Nvidia partners - we've asked for clarification on this point. Update 11/04/2019: The Game Ready Driver for Anno 1800 with extended DXR support for GTX GPUs is available via the Nvidia GeForce driver download page. But the move also raised many questions regarding performance, or lack thereof. Nvidia has provided its own internal benchmark results, some of which I've included below. However, besides the GTX 1660 TI and GTX 1660, these cards are built on Nvidia's last-gen Pascal architecture, which means the 10-series cards will need to use their CUDA cores to chew through ray-tracing calculations.
Most of the GTX cards perform quite poorly with higher levels of ray tracing, so why even bother with DXR-enabled drivers for GTX cards?
Now with this driver, GeForce GTX class graphics cards would be able to execute the ray tracing instructions on traditional shader cores but won't be as fast as their RTX based successor.
While speaking with journalists, Nvidia product manager Justin Walker said he recommends playing the games at a 1920 by 1080 resolution, and perhaps downgrading other settings. Until the majority of gamers have graphics cards that can run DXR effects and still provide reasonable performance, I doubt game developers and publishers will want to restrict access to their games. And while they're harmless enough, they are all done at 1440p with everything cranked up to Ultra quality, so they do present a sort of worst case scenario for cards without RT hardware. This remains true for AMD; there is no indication thus far that it is planning to enable DXR in any of its card, despite the Neon Noir demo running on AMD hardware.

Typically at the end of a leasing period, you would buy the auto outright or trade it for a new model with a similar leasing plan. Standard customers can upgrade to Standard Plus at any time and Standard Plus customers can downgrade and receive a refund.

They will have to do so without Nicolas Tagliafico, however, who will be suspended after picking up a caution in the first half. We had a brief chat and shook hands", he explained.
As Nvidia itself admits, this will make for a less-impressive ray-tracing experience. And the company reps seemed a bit unclear when it comes to SLI support for ray tracing on non-RTX hardware. To give a glimpse of this, NVIDIA released a couple of new ray tracing showcases.
Indeed, the new 425.31 GeForce Game Ready Drivers support ray tracing via DirectX Raytracing (DXR) on the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1660, along with the GTX 1080 Ti, GTX 1080, GTX 1070 Ti, GTX 1070, and GTX 1060 (6GB).
Overall the new driver is being released this morning at the same time as this news post goes up - 9am ET. However, in the rest of the titles, including Metro Exodus, Justice and Atomic Heart, the former flagship begins to crumble under the weight of multiple ray traced techniques.
Finally, NVIDIA is also calling attention to a reflections tech demo that we have seen before. On top of that, NVIDIA has also launched a collection of new ray tracing tech demos that anyone with a supported GeForce card can download to get a better sense of what ray tracing adds to a game. After all, seeing is believing; and seeing something rendered in real time is a lot more interesting than seeing a recoded video of it. All three demos can be downloaded at NVIDIA's official page. Atomic Heart looks to be the primary demo of this at the moment.
