The San Antonio Spurs gutted out a tight victory with some impressive performances in the clutch against the Nuggets in Game One, but they were unable to hold on to a big lead in Game Two which would've vaulted them to 2-0 in the series as they head back to the AT&T Center for Games Three and Four. Prior to the playoff series against the Spurs, his only taste of postseason basketball was with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2013-14 NBA season. They finished with 114 points on 48 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent from three-point range. Derrick White is the third double-digit scorer and Patty Mills is dishing three assists. They had won seven of their last 12 games in Denver, including the regular season.
San Antonio shocked Denver in Game 1 on Saturday, earning a 101-96 victory at Denver. In truth, though, his turnaround may have started at the end of the third quarter, when he got to the free throw line and finally saw the ball go through the net. The Denver Nuggets are allowing 46.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 46 rebounds per game. He's an integral part of this Nuggets team which won 54 games during the regular season.
Not only did he shoot 8-of-23 from the field in Game 1, but he also missed a wide-open mid-range jumper with 9.4 seconds left that would have given the Nuggets the lead, then turned the ball over with two seconds left as he tried to race up the floor for a potential game-tying shot. The Nuggets were down five with 2:24 left and had a chance to take the lead, but Murray misfired on an 18-footer with 9.4 seconds left. The Spurs are 22-8 ATS in the last 30 meetings in Denver and the road team is 29-13 ATS in the last 42 meetings.Читайте также: CCT Commences Judgement In Onnoghen’s Trial
The Nuggets went on a run in the last 3:34 to get back into it.
Even with the game one win, the home team has won 10 of the last 11 meetings between the Spurs and Nuggets. Coming into the 2019 playoffs, a lot of Western Conference teams were excited to play the Nuggets because of their lack of playoff experience on their roster and the Spurs are certainly taking advantage of that. It's the reason why I had the Spurs winning this series and will continue to take them in the underdog role whenever I can get free points. This was tied for the third-largest blown lead by the Spurs under Popovich in the playoffs. I don't trust the Nuggets. "It's only going to happen though if we believe, we commit, we fight and we attack, and the guys took it to heart and we closed the game out on a 57-32 run from that point on".При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
