The new Corsair is of course the replacement for the MKC SUV, part of the luxury brand's swing to nautical nomenclatures for its new models. Melding design cues from the Aviator and Navigator with a modest helping of Audi and Range Rover (the latter in the sharply tapering roofline and jutting roof spoiler), the Corsair definitely has one thing going for it: Unlike some badge-engineered Lincolns of old, the Corsair won't be confused with its Ford-branded Escape counterpart.
The 2020 Lincoln Corsair will be produced at Ford's Louisville, Kentucky assembly plant when it goes on sale this fall. Maybe a pirate on a journey? Intelligent all-wheel drive varies torque to each wheel as well as to each axle to provide optimum traction. The standard mill is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing 250 horsepower (186 kilowatts), with a higher-output 2.3-liter turbo generating 280 hp (208 kW). Adaptive cruise control with lane centering and the ability to come to a full stop and restart the auto again-for example, in stop-and-go traffic-is available as an option. The market for compact luxury SUVs is especially hot, and with the new Corsair, Lincoln now has a fresh entry-level product. You can also set up the Corsair using one of five drive modes (Normal, Excite, Slippery, Deep Conditions, Conserve) that alter transmission shift points, steering feel, anti-lock brake response, and other settings.
The Lincoln Corsair is a more compact expression of what Lincoln dubs "quiet flight", the brand's philosophy of creating a serene, effortless driving experience reminiscent of gliding. The vehicle's width is emphasized through the several horizontal lines of the interior. Shhhhh-it's a quietly aggressive look that doesn't break any rules, but doesn't break any mirrors, either. But even without all that good stuff, the Corsair still offers plenty of room front and back. It expands to 58 cubes with them down.
Like all Lincoln cars, the Corsair comes standard with a suite of driver-assist features - Lincoln Co-Pilot360.

Xbox Rumor: Microsoft’s Next-Gen Console 'More Advanced' Than PlayStation 5
The issue, however, is that the PS5 is completely unprecedented, and much like the PS3 and PS4, it could well go either way. If Microsoft will choose to feature SDD on their next-generation Xbox consoles, the high-end model will definitely have it.
Driver-assistance systems include the optional Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus bundle that adds Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go traffic jam assist, Evasive Steer Assist, Reverse Steer Assist, Active Park Assist Plus and more.
The Corsair breaks no new design ground, preferring to walk the sober, upright path forged by its Lincoln SUV stablemates, only with a lighter footprint.
Like its predecessor, the Corsair shares its platform with the Ford Escape, which is also new for 2020, but features distinctive styling and a few engineering tweaks to make it more luxurious These include an "integral bush" rear suspension system and a composite "sound wall" in the engine compartment to better insulate the cabin from noise.
