Police said they responded around 9 am on Monday to a auto parked along Route 28 in East Deer for what they understood to be a medical emergency.
Clayton Lucas, 25, faces aggravated assault and other charges after allegedly attacking the man driving him in Allegheny County on March 4, according to local stations WTAE, CBS Pittsburg and WYMT, who cite a criminal complaint.
State police tell KDKA that Lucas reached around the driver's seat while the van was in motion and began choking him because of his playing and singing of Christmas songs.

The state trooper claimed that Lucas would not listen to his verbal commands as the trooper attempted to handcuff him.
According to police, Clayton Lucas was getting his Scrooge on when he tried to strangle his Christmas song loving driver.
Lucas was booked into the Allegheny County Jail.
