The new renders of the upcoming Huawei flagship, which come courtesy of WinFuture, show that the Huawei P30 Pro's rear panel will feature a vertically aligned triple rear camera module, while the fourth camera is located below the flash and the laser autofocus module. There's no word on what will be tucked under the hood of the P30 Pro but we're expecting to see Huawei's latest Kirin 980 processor and a bigger battery that can be charged wirelessly. The execs at the meeting deflected camera questions, but everything I've seen so far makes me wonder whether the Mate X and P30 Pro will share the same multi-lens camera setup. Moreover, the lenses feature apertures between f/1.6 and f/3.4. Roland also mentioned the possibility of a time-of-flight sensor making a return (from Honor View20). The third camera in the triple camera setup is changed from the conventional round style to square and it is a bit depressed. As a comparison, the Mate 20 Pro's camera has a focal length of 16-80mm which is equivalent to 5x zoom.
Huawei has already teased a launch event for later next month with a grand unveiling taking place on March 26 in Paris.
