Rudi Dolezal, who directed videos for the band, including for their 1985 hit One Vision, and was close to Freddie, says their legendary manager Jim Beach and others around the band are discussing how to proceed with a follow-up.
When it comes to biopics, Bohemian Rhapsody did a pretty fabulous job of telling the story of Queen and its leading lad Freddie Mercury and wrapping it up in a neat little package at the end.
The film was a global smash hit a year ago, earning $876m (£669m) at the worldwide box office, becoming the most successful music biopic of all time.

According to a new interview with a director of several Queen music videos, the idea of a sequel is now something that is being discussed by the band and the people associated with them.
Dolezal, who made 30 videos with Queen, began working with the band around the period of time the last scenes in Bohemian Rhapsody depict. Bohemian Rhapsody ended with this statement: "Freddie Mercury died of AIDS-related pneumonia on the 24th November 1991. Who knows, there might be a sequel", May told Classic Rock.
But while the film's awards have added buzz there will a sequel, a pal of star Rami Malek's told us that they hadn't heard of any talk about a new film.
