HoloLens 2 is also more ergonomic and comfortable thanks to a "universal fit" system, according to Microsoft.
HoloLens 2 will initially be available for $3,500 in the US, Japan, China, Germany, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Australia and New Zealand, the company announced at the ongoing 2019 Mobile World Congress here on Sunday. It's slightly smaller than the original and made entirely from carbon fiber, which reduces the weight. Microsoft has also doubled the mixed reality field of view, making the holographic overlay less like a floating reticle and more like a (virtual) display that's useful. Microsoft also more than tripled the comfort of the device by adjusting the center of gravity so the device should be literally "float on your head". Microsoft compares this to moving from a 720p television to a 2K TV for each eye.Читайте также: Tottenham's Premier League dream is over, Mauricio Pochettino declares after Burnley loss
The device will enable users to sign in via Microsoft Hello, and now features better eye and hand-tracking for further immersion into the HoloLens experience. It's also available as part of a $125 per month subscription that includes Dynamics 365 Remote Assist, which is used by HoloLens-wearing technicians to diagnose problems remotely.
"At its core is the time-of-flight depth sensor we developed for HoloLens 2, high-def RGB camera and a 7-microphone circular array that will enable development of advanced computer vision and speech solutions with Azure", explained the company.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
