Boy band BTS to attend 2019 Grammy Awards as presenter

BTS are officially coming to the 2019 Grammys!
According to Billboard, Big Hit has confirmed earlier reports that the group will present an award at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
BTS are also nominated for a Grammy, earning a nod for best recording package, essentially recognition of the album artwork for their record Love Yourself: Tear.
K-pop boy group BTS are set to attend the Grammys as presenters.

It will be against four other LPs like Mitski's "Be the Cowboy", St Vincent's "Masseducation", The Chairman's "The Offering", and Foxhole's "Well Kept Thing". That means their achievement came in eligibility for the 2018 ceremony - putting them out of the running for the 2019 awards.
Maroon 5 was only nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Girls Like You" with Cardi B. Their absence at the Grammys is expected, since the show is scheduled for only a week after their Super Bowl LIII halftime show performance.
