Nashville police arrested five juveniles Friday in the fatal shooting of a popular local musician, PEOPLE confirms.
The suspects were identified as Diamond Lewis, 15; Roniyah McKnight, 14; Decorrius Wright, 16; as well as the 12-year-old and a 13-year-old boy whose names were withheld due to their ages.
They range in age from 12 to 16 years old.
Police said Yorlets was shot outside of the home, but he was able to make it back inside.
The juveniles interacted with Yorlets, took his wallet, and ultimately demanded that he surrender the keys to his vehicle, according to the release.
Authorities say it appears the juveniles were hanging out in the alley behind Yorlets' home when they spotted him and attempted to rob him.
"She didn't run from there, and she didn't call the police", Miller said, according to the Tennessean.
Police recovered two stolen pistols upon arresting the teens.

Yorlets was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Yorlets was from Pennsylvania and graduated from Belmont University, according to police. Police released booking photos and the names of three of those charged because they are older than 13. He was a member of a local band, Carverton.
The victim is 24 year old Kyle Yorlets.
Carverton said in a statement that they were shocked and heartbroken by the news.
