South Korean technology giant Samsung's upcoming smartphone Galaxy A50 will house a massive 4,000mAh battery, according to a new report that has surfaced online. Currently, Samsung is working to launch its flagships of the year - Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ - in or around Mobile World Congress 2019 which is scheduled for Feb 25.
According to Samsung-focused blog GalaxyClub, the phone might come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, triple rear-cameras, Infinity-O or Infinity-U display, and wireless charging support. More surprisingly, the phone will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. Previous rumours that the A50 would pack a 5000mAh battery have now been denied; it seems it will pack a 4000mAh one instead. The device will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7 9610 chipset, an octa-core processor with four Cortex-A73 cores and four A53s.
