Bush died Friday at age 94.
It will be the eighth funeral train in USA history and the first since Dwight D. Eisenhower's body travelled from the National Cathedral in Washington through seven states to his Kansas hometown of Abilene 49 years ago.

Inside the Capitol, people in wheelchairs visited the casket alongside Sully, the 2-year-old Labrador retriever assigned to Bush after his wife, Barbara, died in April. Among them was the former US President's prominent friend - Sully, his service dog.
Members of the public who never voted for the man waited in the same long lines as the rest, attesting that Bush possessed the dignity and grace that deserved to be remembered by their presence on a cold overcast day in the capital.
James Baker, who was Bush's secretary of state, campaign manager and confidant of several decades, delivered a eulogy, remembering his longtime friend as having "had the courage of a warrior but the greater courage of a peacemaker".
However, package mail delivery will be limited.
