"Just sit down, please", Trump told Acosta, who asked the president off mic about his description of the media as "the enemy of the people".
Trump and Acosta have long have a contentious relationship as the CNN reporter often asks the president questions that seemed created to illicit a reaction from him.

Trump told Acosta to "put down the mic" and a White House staffer attempted to take the mic from the CNN correspondent but he wouldn't give it up.
An exasperated and angry Trump walked away from the microphone before rebuking Acosta.
"Honestly I think that you should let me run the country, you run CNN, and if you did it well, your ratings will be much better", Trump said.
"That's enough. That's enough", Trump said as aides tried to take the microphone from Acosta. "You shouldn't be working for CNN".
"I will tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them-you are a rude, awful person, you shouldn't be working for CNN", Trump said. The president continued to excoriate Acosta saying how he treats his press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, in the press briefings is bad. "You rudely interrupted him".
But as Acosta pressed on and Alexander stood there, Trump turned back to the CNN reporter.
Get ready for another "dear diary" moment from Acosta soon, folks.
