Two women found bound together whose bodies washed up on the shore off Manhattan's Upper West Side have been identified.
Rotana Farea, 22, and Tala Farea, 16, were found on the rocks near 68th Street & Riverside Park in Manhattan on Thursday.
The sisters were found laying on rocks near the river, fully-clothed, both wearing black jackets with fur trim and black leggings.
Police said the two had been duct-taped together around their waists and feet.
The medical examiner's office will determine the causes of death as the investigation continues, police said.
