Gajapati, Ganjam districts of Odisha got affected badly. Road and telecommunication has been disrupted in several parts of Gajapati district.
The cyclone caused widespread damage in the coastal areas of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts of north Andhra Pradesh and in Odisha.
Reports of trees, electric poles getting uprooted and damages to kuchha houses were reported, officials said, adding that road communication in some places, including Gopalpur and Berhampur, was snapped.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the situation and administrative measures to face aftermath of Titli, at State secretariat in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The Odisha state government evacuated more than 300,000 people from five coastal districts on Wednesday while local schools, colleges and childcare centres were ordered closed and fishermen advised not to go out to sea.

The latest India Meteorological Department (IMD) report said cyclone 'Titli made the landfall between 4.30 and 5.30 am in south-west coast of Gopalpur near Palasa in Andhra Pradesh with an estimated maximum sustained surface wind speed of 140-150 kmph gusting to 165 kmph. However, the damage in Ganjam district is lesser than what was anticipated, said Padhi. Thirteen teams, comprising 45 personnel each, of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were deployed in the affected areas.
According to officials who are monitoring the cyclone from the coastal Doppler weather radars at Visakhapatnam, Gopalpur and Paradip, the cyclone is very likely to move north-westwards during the next 12 hours and then re-curve north-eastwards towards Gangetic West Bengal across Odisha.
"Long distance trains slated to pass through East Coast Railway jurisdiction between Khurda Road and Vizianagaram on Howrah-Chennai main line may be diverted via Kharagpur-Jharsuguda-Nagpur-Balharshah-Vijayawada route", he said.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay and the deep sea have been advised to remain sheltered till further notice.
Although no casualty from Odisha has been reported due to "very severe cyclone Titli" till 2 p.m. on Thursday, news about damages caused by the cyclone is trickling in from south Odisha districts like Ganjam, Gajapati and Rayagada. The IMD has said the region will experience very heavy rain, which could lead to flooding, and strong winds.
