Fortnite's weekly content update has landed and there are big additions to look forward to for Battle Royale regulars.
This isn't the first time Epic Games has taken Fortnite players to court over cheating accusations; the developer notably sued two individuals previous year over using and distributing cheats for the game, though it was later discovered that one defendant was a minor.
The legal issue stems from the fact that injecting any code into Fortnite that modifies the game itself violates Epic's copyrights, a violation that is only further aggravated by the fact that both defendants regularly shared video of the cheats in action. That's to be expected after a major update.
Competitive "Fortnite" continues to grow with in-game tournaments and esports events.
Unlike past in game vehicles, the Quadcrasher builds up boost meter just by being driven, and can be made to boost with the press of a button. Boosting allows them to smash through buildings and launch players in the air, but as Epic Games' patch notes pointed out, players can also "boost off ramps or cliffs to catch sick air".

Epic says that grouping everyone into a single competition group will increase visibility for the best players and help increase prize pools. Each tournament has a series of scheduled dates and times, so you can plan ahead and be prepared.
Back in June, Epic Games said that gifting would be coming to Fortnite. Each of these scheduled sessions is a completely clean slate - all players will begin with the same score and compete over several hours of intense competition to earn as many points as possible. By playing well, competitors will be matched with others close to their ability level. You won't have to worry about being eliminated by more experienced players early on.
Epic also lists Colton Conter in the lawsuit, claiming that Conter routinely shares similar videos under the username Exentric to his 7,000 subscribers.
If your PS4 Pro is plugged into a 4K TV, the game now renders at 1440p instead of 1080p.
The highly anticipated Fortnite gifting system looks to nearly be completed with leaked footage providing a first look of the Fortnite gifting system in action.
