Despite launching without a dedicated single-player campaign mode, Activision has announced via their blog, that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has set a new launch day record as the biggest day one digital release in Activision history. It has also emerged that day one physical sales of Black Ops 4 were 59 per cent down on those of 2015's Black Ops III, and almost 50 per cent down on the equivalent figure for last year's Call of Duty: World War 2. It also sold double WWII in terms of digital PC sales.
Many are hailing Black Ops 4 as the best Call of Duty game in years, and while that definitely feels a tad premature, it's certainly not the cynical offering some were expecting, especially with the one notable gameplay exclusion which has sharply divided the fanbase.
In fact, it's broken Activision launch-day records for the best-selling Call of duty game. This is an interesting statistic in that it may not be as interesting as it first seems. The most damaging is the "Sitting bull" emote, that makes the player crouch and triggers a third-person point of view indefinitely.

That followed three straight weeks of declines and was the largest weekly increase since the week ended August 10. Biofuel production also increased by 300,000 barrels a day from the previous quarter, according to the report.

And not only did she change up her outfits, but Princess Eugenie also let her hair down for the evening event. Queen Victoria's Wheat-Ear Brooches were originally commissioned by William IV in 1830 for Queen Adelaide.
It's becoming increasingly hard to tell how well a game is doing from its chart position, as many long-running series see major drops in sales but others, such as Forza Horizon, still manage to increase. That likely implies that while Black Ops 4 is performing well, it's still unlikely to surpass the Call of Duty franchise's top performers such as Modern Warfare 3.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. But again, if Black Ops 4 can continue to engage players online like it's doing right now then Activision is probably more than happy. Publisher Activision describes the sales as a "new franchise high". But the new viewpoint also allows for illicit and completely protected peeking around walls and corners, as can be seen in multiple video and photo examples that have been posted online since the game's launch.
