Ryanair on Friday proposed that a third-party mediator step into talks with a trade union representing its Irish pilots who went on strike for a fourth time on Friday ahead of wider action planned around Europe next week.
Forsa announced the news earlier today after little progress had been made between trade unions and the airline.
Pilots in Belgium and Sweden have announced a walkout for Friday, August 10.
RYANAIR has confirmed that 100 of its Dublin-based pilots will strike for a fifth day on Friday, August 10 - the same day as their colleagues in Sweden and Belgium.
"For over a month, the union has said that industrial action is likely to continue until there is substantial movement on the pilots' reasonable demands for an agreement on a fair and transparent approach to base transfers and related matters", pilots' union Fórsa said in the statement.

Ryanair cancelled 24 of around 2,300 daily flights after a second one-day strike by Irish pilots.
Pilots are demanding more for promotions and transfers to reduce what they say is excessive management discretion over their careers, while cabin crew want local contracts and better conditions. Over 1,000 Ryanair flights were cancelled in July due to strikes and other factors, affecting almost 200,000 customers, said Ryanair. "The union has today told Ryanair that it remains available for talks".
In retaliation for a three-day strike in July, the low-priced Irish carrier announced on Friday that 100 pilots and 200 cabin staff would be transferred to Poland, threatening them with dismissal if they refused.
"Forsa again rejected Ryanair's repeated offers to meet to resolve this dispute on Tuesday next", it said.
Ryanair is seeking to make separate agreements in each of the markets it operates and has asked for a full week's notice of strike action to refund or redirect passengers.
