Multiple Fatalities in Shooting in Fredericton, New Brunswick

Canadian police say there are "multiple fatalities" in an shooting in the city of Fredericton in New Brunswick. Later, police confirmed four people had been killed in the incident.

Police are telling residents to avoid the Brookside Drive area as they "investigate an ongoing incident". The cause of shooting in the capital of New Brunswick province was not immediately known.

Fredericton is located about 50 miles northeast of the US border with Maine.
