As temperatures soared and players wilted at the US Open, Alize Cornet was hit with a code violation for briefly removing her shirt on court.
Cornet had left the court to change into a new shirt between the second and third sets of an eventual loss to Johanna Larsson on Court 10.
She took off the top - revealing a sports-bra underneath - to quickly adjust her shirt to the correct position.
After her shirt was back in place correctly, umpire Christian Rask issued her a code violation.
Members of the tennis community criticised the decision on social media.
The code violation was technically a warning, so she didn't lose any points, but the 28-year-old was obviously confused by the decision - shaking her head and smirking in a "can you believe this?" way.
