Pastrana surpassed Knievel's jump over 50 crushed cars, done at the Los Angeles Coliseum in 1973, by clearing 52 cars.
Then, Pastrana jumped 16 Greyhound buses (a record 193 feet), breaking the 14 buses that Knievel jumped during his career in 1975 (although Knievel crashed while jumping 13 buses at London's Wembley Stadium five months earlier in 1975). "This is the home of the most iconic jump, one of the most iconic events that has ever gone down. Thank you for everyone watching, and the Evel Knievel family for coming out and making my dreams come true, and hopefully everyone enjoyed the show".
After his first two jumps, Pastrana - with a police escort - traveled down Las Vegas Boulevard doing burnouts and wheelies, taking selfies with and giving high-fives to fans who lined the roadway as he made his way to Caesar's Palace. "I'm not done yet, but this was definitely one of the coolest things, the coolest thing I've ever been able to do".
"I'm jumping a bike that's not made for jumping", Pastrana said after arriving in Las Vegas.
Britain's Brexit Secretary Abruptly Quits, Throwing Deal To Leave EU In Doubt
Davis said he had left because he feared the European Union would "take what we have offered already and then demand some more". For many Brexit campaigners, Baker's government role gave them faith in the process.

Car bomb explodes near Somali presidential palace
Three gunmen were believed to be holed up inside the ministry, Hussein said as shooting could be heard in the background. The al-Qaida linked al-Shabaab militants have claimed responsibility for the latest attack in the capital Mogadishu.
"In order to get here and to do all this stuff, Evel Knievel had to be a showman, he had to be a salesman, he had to convince people he could fly a motorcycle".
The second jump had Pastrana recreating a stunt Knievel performed at King's Island in OH, when he jumped 14 Greyhound buses.
On Sunday, Pastrana wore white leathers, boots and a cape similar to Knievel's iconic costume. And while Pastrana won't attempt to lengthen Knievel's attempt in any way, he'll have less room to operate, with a far shorter approach and run-out, given the development that's taken place on the Caesars Palace property over the ensuing 50 years. "These bikes are a little faster and a little lighter (than Knievel's Harley), but it's similar". Knievel wiped out on the landing and was hospitalized with multiple broken bones, but Pastrana soared over the fountain and landed well down the landing ramp.
"This (jumping the fountain) is definitely the most technical".
"This was so cool, such an epic time", Pastrana told The History Channel.
