Tesla said every Model 3 gets its brakes tested on a track before it goes to a buyer.
"The test ensures that the car's wheels are perfectly aligned and checks the brakes and their function".
Tesla spokesman Dave Arnold told Business Insider that every auto undergoes "rigorous quality checks", including braking tests, before it's sold. "While the jury is still out on the news today and what the implications could be for Model 3 production quality and changes going forward, the knee jerk reaction from the Street's perspective is clearly a concern that neutralizes some of the long awaited good news from reaching the key 5,000 per week goal".
Out of the 21 analysts polled by TipRanks (in the past 3 months), 7 rate Tesla stock a Buy, 8 rate the stock a Hold and 6 recommend a Sell.

Haas celebrate 50th race with best result yet

According to Reuters, the EV maker tapped workers from other departments to keep the Model 3 line running at the necessary speed, disrupting production of the Model S and X lines while weekend shifts were mandatory for Freemont workers.
"They were borrowing people from our line all day to cover their (Model 3) breaks so the line would continue to move", said a Model S worker on Sunday. Tesla fell short on its second-quarter deliveries by delivering 40,740 vehicles instead of the projected 51,000.
Because of the focus on the Model 3, the S line was about 800 cars behind schedule to enter the paint shop, the worker said. According to Tesla however, there was no disruption to Model S and X production rates. It built 49,489 of those cars in the first half of this year. Asked about the potential S and X impact, Tesla said it also produced 1,913 of those vehicles during the last week of the quarter along with its Model 3s.
While the electric carmaker claims its cars have no problems with braking, some think otherwise.
The stock closed down 7.2pc, wiping more than $5bn (£3.8bn) from Tesla's market capitalisation and erasing all its gains from Monday, when it revealed it had finally met its Model 3 production target of 5,000 cars per week. "I've been testing cars for 11 years..."
