Indian actress Taapsee Pannu's courtroom drama "Mulk" recently launched its official trailer. As per reports in IANS, the actor known for her powerhouse performance in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's Pink was noted saying that it is disturbing to see what all the Muslims face as her life is being managed by Muslims. It is like she has put all of her energy on delivering Aarti Mohammed, the defense lawyer who is seen fighting to get justice to the Muslim old man Murad Ali Mohammed, the accused in a bomb blast case.
Taapsee also replied to Big B and asked if they could do a couple of more films together. She further added that if somebody has to stand up to address the issue, then she would love to take the responsibility. "It's very disturbing to realise that a particular religion is being targeted", she said at the trailer launch of the film. "This fear and this disturbance in my mind, I vented it all out through this film", she said. That's what we are trying to express in the film and whatever dialogues I have said in the film I have done it with all my heart.
Mulk also features Neena Gupta, Rajat Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra and Ashutosh Rana as well.
