Godzilla unleashes 'atomic breath' in 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' first look

Entertainment Weekly has revealed two first look images from the third chapter of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse, Godzilla: King of Monsters featuring Millie Bobby Brown and Vera Farmiga, along with the legendary Kaiju unleashing his atomic breath; check them out here... The movie is the sequel to 2014's blockbuster Godzilla and it will see the legendary monster take on a host of other giant creatures from the classic Japanese Godzilla movies.

"The world is reacting to Godzilla in the same way we would react to any other terrifying incident, in that we are overreacting", says director Michael Dougherty, whose previous credits include the horror movie Krampus. Doughtery teased that Rodan in particular is even more powerful than the titular beastie. He's like this winged A-bomb.

"Not without giving away too much", the director joked when asked for more details about the power. Her occupation comes with its hazards, naturally, as she and her daughter are kidnapped by a rival organization with their own plans for the monsters. It's really gonna be something seeing all these creatures rendered in 2018 effects, but for my money the real draw of Godzilla: King of The Monsters will be seeing Dougherty work with this level of spectacle.

Antonio Conte has been sacked by Chelsea
This one is the most likely to go through and would certainly get the Chelsea fans excited ahead of the new Premier League season. Should Sarri be appointed, he would be Chelsea's ninth full-time manager since Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003.

Israel plan to launch historic Moon mission later this year
The rocket will deliver the apparatus to a height of 60 thousand km, and it will be released on elliptical path around the Earth. When it reaches the right altitude, it will ignite its engines and reduce its speed to allow the moon's gravity to capture it.

'Mixed emotions': Anderson wins record-breaking Wimbledon epic
Kevin Anderson defeated John Isner in a record-breaking Grand Slam semi-final contest to reach the Wimbledon final. The five-set match between Kevin Anderson and John Isner has become the longest semifinal in Wimbledon history.

"It's not like we're bending over backwards to introduce Kong, but there's definitely some bread crumbs", Dougherty says of references to Kong.

Godzillla: King of the Monsters stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, Anthony Ramos, Charles Dance, Elizabeth Ludlow, Zhang Ziyi, Anthony Ramos, Ken Watanabe, Randy Havens, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, Thomas Middleditch, Bradley Whitford, and Sally Hawkins.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters doesn't yet have an official release date, but will be landing in theaters in May of 2019.
