Amazon Prime Day is being celebrated Monday, July 16 at 3pm EST (8pm BST).
Amazon's Echo smart speaker is its standard base model (in either Sandstone, Charcoal or Heather Grey), and is joined by the smaller Echo Spot or larger Echo Plus.
Amazon is taking another step to ensure that Prime Day is filled with only the deals customers want this year.
"Prime members in Australia have access to the widest selection of Prime benefits at launch for any country ever", states Amazon Australia.
The deal will let customers add a Black Echo Dot, normally worth $49, to their order for free when placing an ordering an Amazon Echo in Sandstone, Charcoal or Heather Grey fabric colours for $149. Explicit sales information is said to be provided on July 16th.

Amazon's main Dutch competitors are Bol.com and Coolblue.
A Prime subscription costs £79 per year, or £7.99 per month.
Amazon would add five such fulfilment centres - warehouses where stuffs are stored, sorted and transported to destinations - by end of this year.
Notably, products avaialble on the Prime Now app qualify for a fast delivery time of 2 hours for Prime members between 6 AM to Midnight. Having to buy a subscription is a bummer, but there are ways around dropping cash just to take part in Prime Day.
Prime Day deals will be identified by a badge, which reads "Prime Day deal" on a blue background.
