Wa Tiba, 54, left her home on Muna island to visit her cornfield on Thursday night, according to the Jakarta Post. The village chief, known as Faris, claimed the woman went missing and that she was last seen working in her vegetable garden near the village, the Associated Press reported.

An woman in Indonesian was swallowed whole by a python as she checked on her corn fields last week.

According to The Jakarta Post, after two days of searching, the villagers found a huge reptile with a swollen belly a few meters away from a garden where Tiba's family found a few of her belongings. Nevertheless, just such a horror took place on an adjacent island previous year, when a man's body was extracted from a 23-foot-long python, shown in a gruesome YouTube video.

"When they cut open the snake's belly they found Tiba's body still intact with all her clothes", Faris said.

Phil Mickelson freestyles hole 13 of US Open Championship
In 2015 the USGA went to Chambers Bay, a raw, untried course with bad conditions and poor visibility for spectators. Koepka made five birdies, but it might have been the par at 14 that lifted him to his second consecutive U.S.

A police spokesman added: "Residents were suspicious the snake swallowed the victim, so they killed it, then carried it out of the garden".

On Friday, her family went to look for her at the garden but found only her belongings, including sandals and a flashlight, said Faris, who uses a single name.

This specific species of snake is common in Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia, though it is extremely rare for the animal to attack humans. In the wild they are known to eat monkeys, pigs and other mammals.

Giant pythons, which regularly top six metres, are commonly found in Indonesia and the Philippines.
