The love/hate relationship between Maverick and Iceman will continue in Top Gun 2.
Val Kilmer will return to the skies as Tom "Iceman" Kazansky in the Tom Cruise-starring Top Gun sequel, according to a report by The Wrap. But by the end of Top Gun, the duo has developed a mutual respect for each other. Cruise and director Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion) have revealed that the story "follows fighter pilots dealing with a world in which drone technology is making their old style of flying obsolete". The sequel, which is being produced by leading man Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer, is expected to reach movie theatres next summer.
The original Top Gun was directed by Tony Scott and also starred Kelly McGillis, Anthony Edwards and Tom Skerritt.Читайте также: Warriors outlast Cavs, one win away from 2nd straight title
Nobody outside of the production - let alone the writing process - even knows if Cruise's Maverick or Kilmer's Iceman will utter any of their famous phrases, like "I feel the need for speed" and "I don't like you because you're unsafe".
Bruckheimer and Cruise are producing alongside Skydance's David Ellison. Tony Scott's original film may not have been a masterpiece, but it left one hell of an impression that still has us humming that "You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin.'" Presumably, Top Gun 2 will be breaking out an unchained melody or two of its own.
Right now, the movie's projected release date is July 12, 2019.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
