One of Stallone's other attorneys, Blair Berk, has been talking to the investigating officer, Singer said, and she let it be known "that Stallone wanted to file a report that the woman - if it is the same woman - filed a false police report".
The alleged incident at the center of the case took place in 1990s, Lt. Saul Rodriguez of the Santa Monica Police said.
Santa Monica police confirmed to USA entertainment website Deadline that the complaint was made by a woman who in November 2017 said she meant to file a police report over an alleged sexual assault in the 1990s.
Berk could not be immediately reached for comment. The Daily Mail obtained a police report last November, detailing what allegedly went down.

In December, Stallone vehemently denied sexual assaulting anyone through his attorney Martin Singer. That assault was alleged to have occurred at a time that would be beyond the statute of limitations.

The increasing scrutiny on allegations against Stallone come in the wake of the #MeToo movement and reports about widespread sexual abuse allegedly perpetrated by Harvey Weinstein and other powerful men in Hollywood.
