Samsung's plan to launch a Galaxy phone with a foldable display this year may still happen as several reports that point to the possibility of the technology being ready. Recently, Huawei and Motorola had got patents for the same and Samsung has been working on one for quite sometime now.
Ice Universe on Twitter has mentioned that Samsung will start production of LPDDR5 and UFS 3.0 chips starting from the second half of this year. In fact, the first price cut came just one month after the new phones were released. It hasn't been cast by new iPhones, which always present a problem for Samsung's Note phones since the launches are so close. Soon, we'll see what the Galaxy foldable smartphone will offer to the public. The previous year Apple flagship is available at $999, and even ZTE Axon M foldable smartphone stands nowhere near that price. We also remember the latest patent images of LG's first foldable phone.
