Crowds assembled outside the palace lawns to watch the Trooping the Colour ceremony which saw several musicians, about a 1,000 soldiers march together and a stunning flypast by the Royal Air Force.

Twitter users questioned why he had been allowed to play with the toy gun, with many of those pointing to the current surge in violent crime that has hit the UK. Better if he was seen playing with a toy vehicle or football. Should little George been given a more "peaceful" toy to play with or is this all a big noise over nothing?
