A baptism in Ethiopia has gone horribly wrong, with a crocodile attacking and killing the pastor during a waterside service.
The pastor, Docho Eshete, was conducting the ceremony for almost 80 people on Sunday near Lake Abaya in Merkeb Tabya district, BBC reported.
Normally, the animals are a tourist draw.
Despite their efforts to block the crocodile with their nets, by the time they reached Mr Eshetem he was already dead. "All of a sudden, a crocodile jumped out of the lake and grabbed the pastor", local resident Ketema Kairo told the BBC.
The crocodile attacked Ndlovu, managing to tear off her right arm, and bit her left hand before her fiancé, Jamie Fox, was able to fight it off.
