We'll find out whether Bumblebee is the start of that when it hits United Kingdom cinemas on 21 December.
According to director Knight, Bumblebee will carry a tone distinct from the other Transformers series installments - and the teaser trailer proves that, showing off the sweeter, gentler, coming-of-age-story side of the franchise. That role is being filled by John Cena, an agent of Sector 7, the federally-sanctioned Men in Black-esque agency tasked with monitoring alien activity on the planet. That's a stark contrast to Bay's movies, in which the fate of the entire planet is on the line. Paramount Pictures has released the teaser trailer today, and the biggest takeaway is Bumblebee is finally going to be classic Volkswagen Beetle.Читайте также: Tunisia goalkeeper ‘fakes’ injury so his team-mates can break Ramadan fast
Directed by Travis Knight, the film stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Abby Quinn, Rachel Crow, Ricardo Hoyos, and Gracie Dzienny. Bumblebee opens in theaters on December 21st. Charlie (Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken.
Set twenty years before the events of the first film, in 1987, Bumblebee: The Movie follows the autobot - a sentient mechanical self-configuring robotic lifeform - as he takes refuge in a small California beach town junkyard before meeting Charlie. When she revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary VW bug.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
