The spring academic semester which just concluded was the 30th consecutive semester in which Wildcats student-athletes maintained a collective grade-point average above a 3.0, and the seventh straight semester in which the GPA for student-athletes was higher than a 3.2. The Nittany Lions have had at least three squads earn NCAA Public Recognition Awards in all 13 years of the program.
The University of Arkansas has earned a public recognition award in 12 of the 13 years since the program was initiated.
APRs for all Division I teams will be released May 23.
Each student receiving athletically related financial aid earns one point for staying in school and one point for remaining eligible. The women's golf program has also been exceptional on the course winning a school-record seven tournaments in 2017-18.
