Apart from some design similarities here and there, both the Moto G6 and G6 Play vary in nearly all aspects. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 427 SoC and it might come with Snapdragon 430 SoC in India. However, the exact launch date of the phones is yet to be confirmed by the company. The Motorola Moto G6 Play might be the most affordable out of the two and the slowest, but it still features a large 4000mAh battery, while also supporting 15W fast charging. The Lenovo-owned company is teasing that only the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play are coming soon to India.
In addition to the tweet, Motorola has a dedicated microsite for Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play, where users can register themselves to be notified about the launch. The India prices of the phone are yet to be revealed, but we expect the Moto G6 to be priced around Rs 15,000, while the G6 Play may cost around 10,000.
