Breakfast presenter Mike Bushell us being hailed a legend after he fell into a pool while talking to England's Commonwealth Games medallists live on air.
He failed to notice another step and fell into the pool.
During the poolside chat live on TV, the presenter was just getting ready to speak with athletes Sarah Vasey, Adam Peaty, Siobhan-Marie O'Connor, Ben Proud, and James Guy, who were all sitting by the edge of the pool wearing their team colors and adorned with medals.
The journalist was interviewing the British swim team when he accidentally plunged into the pool - leaving them in stitches.
Bushell has since copped a bit of a roasting on social media, although it's all been pretty good natured.

Stayt said: "Mike is carrying on talking, but we can't hear him, because a moment ago he fell in the water, his [sound] pack went in, and he doesn't know we can't hear him now".
Bushell then provided a word of caution to the viewers: "Just look before you get into the swimming pool, OK".
"I missed the step".
